Bring a Friend Month in December

As we are approaching December, we can sense Christmas is in the air!

This is the season to bring a friend to church every Sunday. We would like to offer your friends the opportunity to experience the wonder and love of Christ.

Pastor Koo will be delivering a series of practical and timely messages on 'Living Life Without Regrets', 'Living for More' and 'Leaving a Legacy'.

May we encourage you to begin:
1. Praying for your friends.
2. Preparing your friends.
3. Planning to invite your friends.

Testimony on the usage of the conference room

Since we had left the Amara, Professionals had had to use a small oddly-shaped room at Fairfield Methodist. However, with the completion of the church office at Serangoon, our ALG has been able to use the conference room for our purposes.

Not only does it free up the rental we had to pay Fairfield, but the facilities
are also way better. We have whatever we need: projector and laptop to
show the DVD, a comfortable air-conditioned setting and most of all, a
place we can call home. We no longer are in a hurry to finish by a certain time in
case we get locked in, so fellowship time is no longer at a premium.

We thank God for providing this accessible and affordable place that has been a blessing to Professionals & Students. Thank you for contributing to the office that facilitates God's ministry.

Yours sincerely,
Aaron Wong
ALG Leader, Professionals & Students

Someone once said, "Church is a movement, not a monument". Though we build 'monuments' (i.e. our achievements) along the way, we must "forget what is behind and strain toward what is ahead". (Philippians 3:13)
While I am thankful to God for what He has done for us in the past, I am even more excited about what He will do through us in the future! Therefore, what you will find in this website are our dreams, hopes and visions as a local church.
Paul G. Stoltz the author of "Adversity Quotient" (AQ), says that there are three types of climbers - The Quitter, The Camper and The Climber. He says, "Climbers are possibility thinkers, never allowing...obstacles to get in the way of the Ascent."
By God's grace, we too, as a church will keep climbing upward all the way to fulfill our visions in spite of the adversities and challenges.
